On March 23rd, 2026, an Info day for student enrolment on Faculty of Technical Sciences in cooperation with Regional Innovation Center Zubin Potok was held. The event gathered fourth-year high school students from various schools across the region, providing them with an opportunity to become more familiar with academic and professional opportunities offered by the Faculty as well as the opportunities that Regional Innovation Center Zubin Potok offers to young people particularly in the fields of innovation and professional development emphasizing the importance of connecting education with real-world applications and support systems for youth.
Students were introduced to study programs, enrollment conditions, and career prospects. In addition, they had the opportunity to visit faculty laboratories, where they were guided by the vice deans of the faculty, gaining practical insight into the learning environment and ongoing projects.
Furthermore, the Sokolus team presented their innovative idea, demonstrating to students the real and achievable opportunities available through knowledge, creativity, and initiative.
As part of the Info Day, several Erasmus+ projects were also promoted, including NEST4WB. The Erasmus+ project NEST4WB focuses on modernizing higher education in the Western Balkans by integrating energy and ICT fields into study programs. Its goal is to develop new curricula, improve practical training, and introduce modern technologies such as smart grids and energy efficiency systems. The project also strengthens cooperation between universities and industry.
