University of Mitrovica organized Second Green week five-day event on 21-25 April 2025 which attended over 100 participants. Among participants from the UPKM, its faculties and students as well as many different stakeholders, and wider society. Also,
Erasmus + KEO participated Green Week events. During the event different activities carried out, also popularization materials created and printed within PELMOB project was presented and distributed during the event. On April 21st 2025 Easter Green Week workshop, this event marked the beginning of the Green week of the PELMOB project was marked. The goal of the Easter Workshop was to promote environmental awareness and to introduce participants to the
upcoming events of Green Week through a creative and engaging activity.
22/04/2005 – Presentation of 2nd GREEN WEEK and PELMOB project
On April 22, 2025 presentation of 2nd Green week and Pelmob project was held on the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Pristina with temporary headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica. On this occasion, the beginning of the Green week of the PELMOB project was marked. The opening speech of this event was given by the Rector of University of Mitrovica Prof. Dr. Nebojša Arsić, as well as by the dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences prof. dr Jordan Radosavljević.
23/04/2025 – Presentation of Green Week by Regional Innovation Center Zubin Potok and Sports events
On the third day of the event, dr Aleksandra Petrović, PELMOB coordinator, welcomed the participants and officially opened the day’s program by emphasizing the importance of environmental preservation and the value of initiatives such as this one.
In her presentation, she highlighted that projects like PELMOB play a crucial role not only in promoting sustainable practices but also in encouraging the modernization of academic programs — one of the key objectives of the initiative. 24/04/2025 – Presentation of 2nd GREEN WEEK on Faculty of Arts, A Student Exhibition for the Planet
According to the agenda and the plans for the fourth day of the Green week Faculty of Arts organized thematic art exhibition. The exhibition featured a diverse collection of
works created by students, each piece reflecting their personal interpretations of environmental preservation and the broader mission of the PELMOB project. Through paintings, illustrations, sculptures, and conceptual installations, students emphasized the importance of protecting nature and adopting sustainable habits.

25/04/2025 – Knowledge quiz GREEN WEEK and PELMOB
The final day of Green Week was marked by a lively and engaging knowledge quiz, designed to bring together participants in a fun and educational atmosphere. The quiz featured a variety of question types, covering general knowledge, environmental
awareness, and specific topics related to the PELMOB project and the week’s green initiatives. Students formed two competing teams—Team Green and Team White—who faced off in a friendly but spirited contest. The video material of this event is available on the following link:
